Board-level work starts with an $80 diagnosis ($100 for liquid damage) that tells you exactly what failed and what it costs, and that fee applies toward the repair if you go ahead. Either way, you get a full quote before any work begins.

How long does a repair take?

Standard repairs are often same day, or about 2 to 3 business days if a part has to come in. Board-level work is different: the diagnosis takes 2 to 3 business days because finding one failed component is measurement work, and the repair is usually another 2 to 4 days after that, up to about a week total depending on severity. We never quote same-day for board-level repairs.

No. Walk-ins are welcome Monday through Saturday, 10 AM to 5:30 PM, at 1719 W North Ave in Wicker Park. A real technician looks at your machine the same day, in the store. Closed Sundays.
